Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition 2015

In 2015 Canterbury Connected BID organised Canterbury’s first best dressed shop window competition for Christmas.

The competition was promoted via social media and in the press and was a great opportunity to remind Christmas shoppers that Canterbury is THE place to be at Christmas. There were over 50 entries in two categories:

  1. Small Independents:
    Judges Awards – Gold, Silver, Merit, Commendation
    The People’s Choice Award
  2. Medium/Large/Chain
    Judges Awards – Gold, Silver, Merit, Commendation

Judging took place in two ways starting on Saturday 5th December:

  1. Panel of judges on Saturday 5th December from 3-5pm
  2. “People’s Choice” via social media for small, independents from Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th December. All small, independent businesses will be offered a window poster inviting the public to vote by taking a photo of  your window and posting it to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #CanterburyChristmas.
