#BuyLocalBlackFriday is a campaign to encourage residents in Canterbury, Whitstable, Tankerton and Herne Bay to consider shopping local for Black Friday to help our businesses.
The Welcome Back commitee are building on last years’ campaign with a more robust budget to push the message out via advertising and need your help. We are aiming to reignite the shoppers’ conscience about buying local ahead of the festive season.
This year, the campaign is supported by Whitstable resident and actor Dawn Steele, star of Monarch of the Glen and Holby City. A keen advocate of shopping local, who will be interviewed on ITV Meridian about the campaign.
We aren’t asking you to match big brand price drops for Black Friday. We are asking you to share the event, engage on social media and repost across your audiences from today – Monday 29th November. We have some great images available.
