Ukrainian Independence Day Event

Canterbury for Ukraine will be marking the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and commemorating 30 months of resilience amid the ongoing war with a city centre event: 

1. Information stand on the High Street (11am – 2:15pm) St Peter’s Street
2. Commemorative walk through Canterbury (2-3pm) starting by the Marlowe Theatre
3. Public talk on Ukrainian history and culture (3-4.15pm) St Peter’s Methodist Church
4. Concert featuring local and Ukrainian performers (4.30-5pm) St Peter’s Methodist Church
5. Various cultural activities and refreshments (5.10-6.10pm) St Peter’s Methodist Church
