Green Hop Fortnight

The Kent Green Hop Beer Fortnight is your chance to taste newly released beers made from just-harvested hops produced by over 30 of Kent’s finest brewers. The fortnight is launched at the Canterbury Food and Drink Festival, followed by a range of events being put on during the fortnight where you can try some Kentish brews.

The annual Canterbury Food and Drink Festival 2022 returns after a 2-year hiatus and we are delighted! From the 23 – 25 September the city of Canterbury will once again host the best of local food, drink, produce and performance. This is Kent’s biggest food festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Dane John Gardens showcasing everything to be proud of from the Garden of England, with a smattering of the brightest stars of the modern street food scene from London and beyond. With over 100 traders, 2 stages of music, dedicated kids' area, festival bar and ample seating it’s more than just a food festival, it’s a celebration of Kent and Canterbury. More information HERE

Canterbury Climate Action Awards

Canterbury Climate Action Partnership (CCAP) is hosting Canterbury's first climate change awards, recognising businesses, community organisations, educational institutions, and individuals/households that show exemplary commitment to positive climate change. The winners will be announced at a special Awards Ceremony held on Sunday, 25 September. Categories include: Business – BID, SME, Corporates, Agriculture Education – Higher, Further, Secondary, Primary Collective Action – CSO’s, Residents Associations, Faith Groups, Charities Individual Action – “Carbon Heroes” – individuals who have made exceptional personal contribution in the fights against climate change The awards will form part of the 2022 Canterbury Climate Action Festival, running from 23-25 September, which will have many public climate-related activities and displays.
