Canterbury Christmas Market 2024 Open From November 15th at 10 am   Now extended into the stunning Canterbury Cathedral Precincts (NO charge to get in!)  adding extra festive fun to the established sections in Whitefriars and St Georges. There  is now a total of 95 huts and 150+ stallholders, making it one of the largest Christmas Markets in the South East.   Click here for a map and information of the three areas.   Simply enter via the main Cathedral Gate in the Buttermarket and enjoy a festive treat in the most beautiful historical setting   Find out more here

Bagpuss & Gregory Bear’s Christmas Trail

Last year Canterbury had Hornby Trains - this year we have Bagpuss!  Bagpuss and his friend Gregory Bear are both paying a special visit to Canterbury this Christmas to celebrate his 50th birthday.   Thanks to Hospices for Hope (supported by the Firmin Family) there will be a selection of Bagpuss collectors’ items, accompanied by gorgeous locally made Canterbury Bear teddies on display in lots of different Christmas windows around the city - but can you spot where they are?   Full details of the trail TBC - watch this space!!
