A collaboration between the Cathedral, Canterbury BID and Rockhopper Events, this is an extension to Canterbury’s existing much-loved traditional festive market which spans the city centre. Already one of the most magical festive shopping experiences in the country, it’s hoped that the inclusion of the Cathedral Precincts will attract even more local, national and international visitors, and make Christmas in Canterbury a cornerstone of everyone’s annual celebrations.
This year's Christmas Light Parade and Switch On event will be finishing in the Cathedral Precincts, signalling the opening of the new Canterbury Cathedral Christmas Market. Further details of the parade and the event as a whole will be shared nearer the time. For further info please email enquires@canterburybid.co.uk
