Safety Pop Up Hubs A pop up safety hub will be set up outside Macdonald's on busy nights of Freshers Week, this year it will be on Friday 24th September from 6pm-10pm. You can pick up free leaflets, download apps, pocket free giveaways and hear advice on personal safety. You can also hear about all the fantastic work the community and enforcement groups around the city do to keep students and residents safe on a night out, plus meet the teams responsible for keeping you and your friends safe. It is manned by the City Council with ambassadors from University and local teams. Come and say hello!
Kent Police's Safer Streets Stand will be located outside Barclay's Bank together with the Community City Safety Hub outside Mcdonalds. More information will be available nearer the time Saturday 25th Sept 11am - 4pm

One of the busiest shopping nights of the year is back to welcome the new influx of students to the city and we are hoping for the WHOLE CITY to get involved. CATCHING LIVES & WORLD HOMELESS DAY It is World Homeless Day on the 10th October and to mark the occasion and raise awareness of the cause, Catching Lives have produced a free poster (see image) for you all to display in your windows, shops, cars, businesses, home -anywhere infact!
