Last year we had Hornby Trains – this year we have Bagpuss! And with our local celebrity cat turning 50, the BID and the Canterbury Bears are keen to help him celebrate with a very special visit to Canterbury this Christmas…
Thanks to Hospices for Hope (supported by the Firmin Family) we have a selection of Bagpuss collectors’ items, accompanied by gorgeous locally made Canterbury Bear teddies to display in your Christmas windows.
Whether they are enjoying a cup of tea/coffee or an evening drink, trying on glasses or jewellery, looking at a painting, reading a book together, sitting under a tree, having a picnic – it’s totally up to you!
Running from 18 November – 22 December
We will create window clings and special Bagpuss stamping cards along with teddy bear hole punches. As with last year, people need to come in to your business to receive a stamp, and if they receive 5 or more they can collect their prize from Fenwick toy department.
Wondering what the outcomes were from last year’s window trail? Scroll down for our trail review.
With over 1,300 tickets exchanged for prizes, that equates to over 6,500 visits to local businesses.
