If you have tables and chairs outside your premises, please check whether you have a valid Pavement Licence
Unless you have renewed recently, most pavement licences are due to expire on Monday 30 September 2024.
It is therefore essential if you have seating outside your premises, you must reapply to Canterbury City Council to renew your licence. This is a straightforward process and has a one-off fee of £100

If you don’t see your name on the list, it is likely you don’t have a licence (or it has expired). You must therefore reapply to Canterbury City Council for a new one. This costs £100 and will last for 2 years
